BITUGUM SEALER No2 can be applied to many substrates such as concrete, stone, metal or wood. It is compatible with polyurethane but not with polystyrene. BITUGUM SEALER No2 is an excellent sealing material for vertical joints. It is suitable for sealing joints in flashings, guttering, sheet laps and also for the adhesion of bituminous tiles (shingles).

The surface must be smooth, clean and dry, free from dust, oils and grease.

BITUGUM SEALER No2 is cold applied by trowel. To achieve a better adhesion, it is recommended to use the bituminous primer EXTRALAC PRIMER before the application of BITUGUM SEALER No2. When BITUGUM SEALER No2 is under direct sun radiation it is advisable to be protected by bituminous aluminium paint ALUCOAT to extent its life span and avoid premature ageing.

It can be achieved by means of gasoline, oil, or other appropriate solvent.

BITUGUM SEALER No2 is flammable therefore it should be kept away from any sources of ignition. For more information, please consult the relevant Material Safety Data Sheet.

The product should be kept in firmly closed cans, in a cool and well ventilated environment. The properties of the product remain unchangeable for at least one year in normal storage conditions.

The product is supplied in cans of 5kg and 20 kg.
